Huawei Honor 9 Lite full review

Huawei Honor 9 Lite full review

Huawei’s Honor brand is slowly capturing the Indian smartphone market. And if there is an indication from the past few months, then the Chinese smartphone brand is getting aggressive with the release cycle of its phone.

The fourth phone, which was released in the last two months, is introducing the premium looking handset, Honor 9 Light, at a great price of Rs. 10,999 (for 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of storage).

The high end version (4GB RAM and 64 GB storage) which I reviewed comes in Rs. 14,999. But 90 percent of the people asked me to estimate the cost of Honor 9 Light, it kept it above Rs 20,000. This phone looks so magnificent

Like Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 One year ago, the only phone being suggested under Rs 15,000 was made, this time if you have a budget of Rs 10,000, then I would suggest you add 1,000 rupees additional and go for the Honor 9 lights .

There is nothing closer to the competition to defeat the value proposition being offered by Honor 9 Light. There’s a lot to do in this price range, with beautiful designs, respectable glasses, four cameras, an 18: 9 aspect ratios full HD + display, Android oro out of the box and more, in Honor 9 Light. Able to compete

So let’s come directly to the review.

Build & Design: 7.5 / 10

Honor 9 Light borrows lots of design elements from their siblings. 5.65-inch, 18: 9 aspect ratios, in the sporting phones with a 2.5 de-curved display, there are thin bezelles on the right and left side. Honor branding has been seen on thin lower bezel. There are dual cameras next to the small speaker section and the proximity sensor in the top part. The Honor 9 Light comes with 2.5D glass on both the front and back, which is separated from the plastic frame. It measures approximately 7.6 mm thick.

Turn the phone around and you notice some tricks, as is the comparison with Honor 9i, 7x and even View 10. The camera bump, which was predominantly noticeable in all three phones, is not very clear (although it only arises. Millimeter from the plane on the rear side at Honor 9 Light). Circular fingerprint sensor is in the top-center part and its matte finish puts it in a glossy environment.

The glossy back stands out For all practical purposes, it resembles a mirror because it is highly reflective. While I liked the sapphire blue color variant as compared to the black and silver color variants, the blue color attracts a lot of smoothies. Unlike the Metal Back of Honor 7X, getting rid of them is easy, but it can be annoying to see a smooth smile during your daily use. Smoothie is kept neatly on the back of Honor 9 Light. So if you want to go for a sapphire blue version, keep a microfiber cloth handy at all times.

The phone has a plastic frame with round edges, which makes it look good enough. The use of plastic is understandable, and honestly, it does not really remove how good the Honor 9Light looks. While the volume rocker and the power / standby buttons are located on the right side, while the hybrid dual SIM card tray on the left hand side. The 3.5mm audio jack, a microSUS charging port and data transfer port and speaker grill sections are hosted at the bottom edge. The phone fits very well in the hand, although one-handed operation will be challenging. At 149 grams it is quite light in the grip.

Features: 7/10

Honor is continuously releasing the phone and it is difficult to keep in mind what specifications are in the phone. But thanks to the naming convention, you can at least separate the chipset that it is building. So the Honor 9 Light, like its earlier Honor 9I, has 16 nm Hyacilicon Kirin 659 chipset.
